Exhibitions
Born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1944.
Immigrated to Canada in 1965, and worked freelance Exhibition and Display in Montreal.
Moved to Fan Tan Alley, Victoria in 1971. Worked as an artist in photography, bronze, paper, canvas, mixed media. Some of his wooden and bronze signs still hang outside Victoria buildings today.
Moved to Port Alberni in 1994, where he bought the “Arrowview Hotel”, a derelict 20,000 square foot building, built in 1928 of first-growth Douglas Fir. He dismantled parts of the building to use the material to develop his style of artwork - “Wood Assemblages”.
Moved to Cowichan Station, Vancouver Island, in 2006, where he continues to work in his studio.
